The Public Works Department provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of everyone who lives and works in Forsyth. There are four departments within Public Works that provide an environmentally sound, visually attractive and safe place to enjoy life.
 

Public Works is responsible for:

• Mowing Rights-of-Way
• Sign Maintenance/Replacement
• Maintaining City Cemeteries
• Residential and Commercial Garbage Service
• Leaf and Limb Pick-Up
• City Vehicle Maintenance/Repair
• Maintenance of all City Owned Facilities
• Residential and Commercial Electrical Service
• Cable TV and Internet Services
