Electric - Water - Sewer - Garbage - Recycling - Leaf & Limb
The City of Forsyth is pleased to be able to offer
convenient and efficient utility service to the public. To
establish or relocate utility service, please visit Forsyth City
Hall. You may download the Utility Service Application and
submit it to Forsyth City Hall.
Electric
A residential deposit is required for new services of $200.00
(for customers needing both electricity and water hook-up). For
residential customers needing only electricity, the deposit is
$175.00. A commercial deposit is required for new services of
$250.00. You can download and complete the application below.
Water/Sewer
A residential deposit is required for new services of $50.00. A
commercial deposit is required for new services of $50.00. You
can download and complete the application below.
Garbage
Residential customers must have city utilities to be eligible
for city garbage pick-up. The monthly fee is $15.00; current
service is twice weekly. The commercial service fee is based on
the number of pick-up times per week and the amount of waste.
All customers must provide their own trash containers. No
deposit is required.
Gas
The City of Forsyth does not offer natural gas services. Click

Leaf & Limb
The City of Forsyth offers curbside pick-up to residents for the
disposition of yard waste. Items allowed curbside: leaves,
straw, hedge, shrub, tree trimmings, grass and other inert
materials resulting from general residential yard cleaning.
Loose dirt will not be picked up. Remember not to mix yard waste
with household waste. |
