Public Utilities

Water Tank

The City of Forsyth Public Utilities Department provides electric, water, and sewer services within the city as well as some parts of Monroe County. Electric, water, and sewer services are not just utilities; they are lifelines that ensure the comfort, convenience, and safety of our customers as well as support the continued operations of the businesses located within our service area.

Partnerships for Reliability and Affordability

The Public Utilities Department understands the importance of reliable and affordable electric service, which is one reason why we engage in strategic partnerships with entities such as the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia and Electric Cities of Georgia. These collaborations bolster our ability to provide consistent and cost-effective electric power to the community, contributing to the overall economic stability and quality of life for residents.
