The City of Forsyth Zoning Department will certify zoning on
a parcel of property located within the city. Please
include the following items in your request:
1. A letter requesting zoning certification.
2.
As many of the following as possible:
a.) A survey of the property including metes and bounds.
b.) A street address.
c.) Tax map and parcel number.
d.) A legal description of the property.
e.) Present use of the property: name of business, etc.
3.
Instructions on how you wish the certification to be
delivered.
4.
A check for $10.00 made payable to the City of Forsyth.

You will receive a letter certifying the zoning district
in which the property lies. Additional information
including purpose and description, permitted and conditional
uses, and dimensional requirements can be found in the

respectively.
