Forsyth Main Street is the vibrant heartbeat of our community, with duties that center around fostering a thriving downtown area that brings residents and visitors together. Organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Forsyth Main Street is dedicated to revitalizing and supporting downtown Forsyth through business and economic development and community engagement.
During the year, Forsyth Main Street hosts events for all ages including “Live on the Square” concerts downtown. These concerts serve as a fantastic platform to showcase local talent as well as nonlocal performers to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together for nights of live music and entertainment. This concert series enhances the cultural fabric of the community and offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
The City’s Farmers Market is another highlight of Forsyth Main Street's annual calendar. This event supports Georgia grown products that not only promote healthy eating and sustainability but also supports local farmers and artisans. Visitors can find a wide array of fresh, locally sourced produce, handmade crafts, and artisanal goods.
