Project Manager
The City of Forsyth is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager within the Community Development Department.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of planning, design, and/or development of capital improvements and other assigned projects from conception to completion. This position oversees, coordinates, organizes, and collaborates with developers, project engineers, consultants, contractors, and various agencies regarding facility and infrastructure development and permitting.
The Project Manager will navigate and troubleshoot project-related challenges; conduct research and analysis to prepare exhibits, reports, and grant proposals; prepare and deliver presentations; and communicate project updates to a variety of audiences including staff, elected officials, and the public.
Additionally, the Project Manager may serve in the capacity of Assistant Community Development Director during periods in which the Director is unavailable. Work is performed independently under the general supervision of the Community Development Director.
